Sacral Neuromodulation – Database for AI/ML-based therapy design for monitoring and outcomes analysis

project

The purpose of this study is to enhance sacral neuromodulation (SNM) therapy by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to extract and organize unstructured medical data, enabling quantitative research and informed clinical decision-making. Through collaboration with clinical teams, the study aims to address current challenges in device programming and therapy optimization. In the short term, the project focuses on automating data processes to facilitate hypothesis testing on therapy effectiveness, device programming, and patient outcomes. Long-term goals include the development of innovative, user-friendly, and self-programming neuromodulation devices that improve patient care and clinical utility.
