metricML-R2-01M: Metadata contains references to other ML models. Test: 1) Relations to ML models are provided with a URL for further information.
Principle: R
Rationale: This metric has similarities to ML-I3-01M. ML-I3-01M refers to general references, that is, all references that are related to the ML model. ML-R2-01M extends this scope to specifically refer to ML models used to extend from/develop an ML model. The ML model should be referred to as a qualitative reference. Here too, the relation object should be described by a relation type (such as DataCite Metadata Schema); Persistent identifiers should preferably be used (DOI for software), and if possible, GUIDs as well.
