To address this gap, we assign to each exGL a unique identifier, exGLid (see Methods). Each exGLid is linked to a set of annotations (see Methods), including overlapping GENCODE gene names and biotypes, ENCODE regulatory elements, repeat elements (LINEs and SINEs), biofluid of origin and exRNA Atlas Datasets (Supplementary Table 6).
